Gardening Events 
Garden event coordinator -
Now you can publicize your event on
my website without needing to fax the information to me...and without me having
to re-type your information onto my page. The data entry blanks below allow you
to type in the pertinent information about your event. Once you hit the Save button,
your entry will go to me for a quick once-over and then I'll post it on my website
in a day or so. This
is a fine job to assign to a member of your group who wants to help....but doesn't
know what to do yet.
Garden events will be regularly rotated at the center
of my homepage. Only a few will show at a time but the lineup will change every
time someone visits my site - so your event will have a great chance of being
seen on the homepage and it will be listed in full on an interior webpage. I plan
to mention the Events link at least once each Saturday on my radio show. I
also mention events in my emailed garden newsletter - but I can't mention them
if you don't have a specific webpage describing the event details at "Contact
Website" below.
If you can't fit all of your information
into these blanks, let me know and I'll change things to make it work for you.
If
you have regular meetings, you'll be given the opportunity (after you hit Save)
to change the date/information of the first event to make it a second, almost
identical event. This makes it easy to enter information for a plant society that
has monthly meetings. Remember:
your event won't show up immediately on my website. Your information is
sent to me first so I can be sure you've included everything needed. It will usually
be posted a day later.
