Beginning January 21st, Smith-Gilbert Gardens is proud to offer a beekeeping course. This multi module program strives to introduce students to beekeeping and to support participants along the way for the first year. By next spring you could have your own hive and bees buzzing around your garden! The course is split up into two modules. Becoming a beekeeper and running your own hive will require you to take both modules.

Tour Guides Needed for Spring Garden Tours
Beginning Monday, January 23rd, Smith-Gilbert Gardens will be offering a docent training course designed to prepare individuals to lead tours and assist with programs for children and adult groups. Classes occur for five consecutive weeks. Docents are required to submit a formal application, available on the website, and must submit to a background check and drug screen.

Herbs for Culinary Use
