Master Gardener Lunch and Learn: Winter Gardening

Get to know the many winter flowering plants that are easy to grow in Southern gardens by joining the Master Gardener Volunteers of Cobb County for our monthly lunch and learn. The program will be presented by Atlanta-native Sara Henderson, the Director of Gardens at Atlanta’s historic Oakland Cemetery.

To prune or not to prune…and when? That’s the topic for the Gwinnett County Master Gardener’s Association lunch presentation on January 21, 2019. Rick Smith, known across the Southeast as “The Pruning Guru” will be sharing tips for successful pruning, including appropriate pruning techniques, different types of equipment that can be used, and introducing winter rejuvenation.
