Many fruit trees can provide abundant fruit if given the proper growing conditions. Gwinnett County Extension Agent Timothy Daly will discuss the best fruit trees for homeowners, and ways to keep them productive. There is no charge, but register by February 27, 2016. 39th Annual Spring Atlanta Home Show

Georgia’s largest home show includes over 350 experts in the home remodeling and landscaping industries showcasing the latest products and services designed to remodel, repair and refresh homes of all sizes and styles. HGTV and DIY Network’s Jeff Devlin will speak Saturday, March 25 at 1 and 3 p.m. Walter Reeves will speak at noon on Friday, March 24 and broadcast live Saturday morning, March 25. Admission is $10. Free for children 12 and under and adults 65 and older (with ID).

Details:

Hypertufa is a mixture of concrete, peat moss and perlite. Creative gardeners use this concoction to make their own troughs, flower pots, bird baths and free from sculpture. All supplies provided, you bring your imagination and will go home with your finished flower trough.
