One of the largest daylily shows in the nation will occur on June 8 at the Cobb Galleria (food court level). This show is titled “Atlanta’s Daylilies at Their Best”. Many cultivars will be on display. There will be a plant sale table as well. Free parking.

We have many beautiful gardens lined up for your touring pleasure in the Buckhead, Toco Hills and Northlake areas on Atlanta. Create your very own unique pot with Hypertufa at a workshop sponsored by the Paulding County Master Gardeners. You’ll have fun while creating your own work of art! There are some items that are helpful to bring with you: Tub or dishpan to mix the concrete mixture, Rubber Gloves, Apron (it gets messy), Small hand trowel, Container, small tub or small bowl to use as a mold to create your pot, and a Dust Mask. Gwinnett Master Gardeners, Rosalie Tubre and Willine White are teaching weekly organic gardening classes to children ages 5 to 12. They will be planting seeds and seedlings of tomatoes, cucumbers & other vegetables along with unusual plants such as cotton, peanuts & muscadines. The Atlanta Koi Club’s bi-annual pond tour event includes 10 gorgeous ponds located on the NE side of Atlanta. This tour is self guided with a pond tour booklet; spend a leisure Saturday visiting local ponds and koi owners. The tour starts in the Briarcliff Road area, travels north east to Snellville and then finishes with ponds in the Norcross area.
