Your shrubs and roses need to be prepared for our summer heat and possible lack of rain. They may also need to be pruned, at the right time. This class will teach you how to maintain and prune your shrubs and roses, covering: mulching, weed control, watering, fertilizing, pest control and pruning (where, when and how).

Come walk the Atlanta BeltLine with expert Arboretum Docents and Atlanta Audubon volunteers looking for urban resident and migratory birds. The habitats the Birding Walk will visit include Clear Creek, a golf course and woodland edges- all areas preferred by birds! The hands-on walk starts behind Ansley Mall. The bird walk covers about 1 mile and lasts 2 hours to stop and bird along the way. This is a family-friendly walk, but is not appropriate for children in strollers or for dogs.
