Breedlove Azaleas: An Amazing Hybrid Swarm. Charles Andrews, a “wild honeysuckle” lover who grew up in Canton, Georgia, will tell his love story with a large population of native azaleas found in Cherokee County on an old cotton farm called the Breedlove Place. There, large numbers of Pinkshell azaleas grow side by side with Oconee, Piedmont, and Flame azaleas and have created an incredible group of natural hybrids with every color and shade possible from native azaleas – white, pink, lavender, yellow, salmon, orange, and deep red. Don’t miss learning about and seeing pictures of these spectacular plants. Visitors welcome!
