Have you ever wondered how weeping flowering cherries were produced on a straight trunk or how to make two different color flowers appear on one tree? How are those ‘fruit cocktail trees’ made featuring different fruit on the same tree or how to clone your favorite trees without having to root them? Grafting is a technique of tree propagation and formation that has been around for more than 2 millennia. Rob Hamilton will discuss grafting history and various uses, tools and techniques. Leave this class with the basic knowledge you need to graft your own trees.
