Camellia Flowers – Frozen?
Q: After the extreme cold of 2014, how can I tell which flower buds on my camellia are frozen and which are not?
A: A few days after the cold, frozen buds will be brown at the tip and will feel soft if you squeeze them. Two weeks after the freeze, damaged buds will fall off the plant.
Healthy buds will feel firm.
