Cattails – Where to get
Q: Where can I get some cattails? My son has a perfect spot for them.
A: There are probably hundreds of people who would be glad to give you cattails from their pond. They won’t tell you that the reason they have such a surplus is that cattails are akin to kudzu in watery environments.
If you feel sure that your son can control them, advertise your need for the reeds in the Georgia Farmers and Consumers Market Bulletin (404-656 3682). My guess is that you’ll get more correspondence and advice than you thought possible.
