South Africa and Ireland Trips – 2014

Do you like to travel? Do you like seeing beautiful gardens? Do you like going to awesome places most tourists don’t get to visit? Do you enjoy meeting lively, curious, funny people who enjoy the same things you do?

Great! You might be interested in traveling with me and other like-minded folks as we explore some of the most fascinating places in the world!

As you know, I have hosted several trips to beautiful places: New Zealand, Cuba, Costa Rica, Italy, etc. Now I’m planning two more you might be interested in: South Africa and Ireland.

Escape the cold winter days of January and enjoy multiple garden visits in both Cape Town and Johannesburg. Visit Kirstenbosch Gardens (Africa’s largest botanical garden) and the Cape Floral Region which is one of the richest areas for plants in the world. It represents less than 0.5% of the area of Africa but is home to nearly 20% of the continent’s flora! You’ll also zoom to the top of Table Mountain by way of gondola and soak up the views at the Cape of Good Hope. A trip to Robben Island Prison and wine tastings in lush vineyards have also been included. Your journey culminates with a safari which will highlight Africa’s big five game species. And, if you have a bit of time, once the main tour ends, continue north to Victoria Falls and see Africa’s largest elephant herds in Botswana. For a detailed itinerary click here.

Then, we’re are off to Dublin in June to attend the renowned World Flower Show. And that’s not all! After spending three nights in historic Dublin we’ll head south to visit the famous Gardens at Powerscourt and the National Stud Farm. And no visit to Ireland would be complete without soaking up the sights on the Dingle Peninsula and seeing the Cliffs of Moher from the sea. Come enjoy a pint of Guinness with us in Ireland! My tours are planned in partnership with Earthbound Expeditions, which has done fabulous work with every trip. We look forward to sharing a remarkable travel experience with you and hope to see you in Africa and/or Ireland in 2014!
