South Africa 2010 - Odd Things

While on my trip to South Africa in January 2010 I kept my eyes peeled for interesting things.

I like finding signs that mean something odd, or views that are intriguing.

Here are some of my favorites.

I hope these baboons weren't hungry

a good motto for us all

sometimes I just can't help myself!

when sunbathing gets out of hand

mmmm...monkey gland sauce looks good!

oh - it's just a tomato sauce with sauteed onion and pepper

even in poverty, a garden grows

peach pits make good mulch if you have lots of them

The whole country is proud of Nelson Mandela

does what it says!

why is cotton candy near the insecticides?

Donít leave your lawn mower out in the rain. Water can get in the gas tank and prevent starting next spring. It is best to drain the tank completely or run the mower until it is out of gas.
