Q: This little alligator walked in my front door like he owned the place, then died. What is it?
A: It’s a Carolina anole, a type of lizard. They are harmless to humans – only to the insects they eat. I’m not sure why your visitor came indoors. Perhaps it was injured or starving or cold.
