Chameleon - Feeding

I had an interesting call this week - a fellow who raises chameleons needed to know how to culture fruit flies to feed to the reptiles. This is pretty far afield for the Extension Service - we can tell you how to feed poultry and cattle - but we don’t have a chameleon specialist! On a whim, I ventured onto the Internet to try to help the caller. Whadda ya know! I found The Drosophila Company, which supplies all your fruitfly needs. I’ve been raising a hardy and elusive family of fruitflies in my kitchen for a month. I wonder if I can rent a chameleon to consume the ones I can’t find?
