Lilac Success!
Just wanted to send you a picture of my lilac growing in my backyard in Henry County.
I am a transplanted Northerner and I too really miss the smell of lilacs in the Spring. I know from listening to your show that you tell people all the time that lilacs usually can’t be successfully grown down here, but I am here to tell you that they can be. This plant is about six years old and we do absolutely nothing to it.
The flowers this year are beautiful and our whole backyard smells wonderful.
Please don’t discourage people from trying, this particular plant is a ‘Miss Kim’
