Orchid Roots
Q: My wife has an orchid whose roots are extending over the top and hanging loose by the side. Should I remove them?
A: This is typical growth for some species of orchids. In nature, these roots would help the orchid cling to a tree’s bark. There is no need to remove them unless they shrivel up.
