We have this weed growing in most with our monkey grass, but it seems to be taking over our yard, the monkey grass, everything! Do you know what it is and how to control it?

We have an invasive weed in our centipede that we’ve been told is sedge. Looks like a 3-pronged whirllygig with a bur in the middle;spreads out flat and takes over very quickly, killing the grass. We have sprayed the sedge as advised by Pikes the sedge is now dead. Question: should we pull up the dead plugs or leave them in the ground?

    Thank you.

I have a weed that grows like a ground vine, it has a sticky feel to it and you can pull it up when it is new or young. However, when it gets some age I have dug it up to find its roots wrapped around other flower roots. This weed seems to stay dormint and looks like dead grass till June or July. At which time it comes alive and takes over parts of my yard and flower beds. I was told it was crabgrass but crabgrass killer did not work. What do I do to get rid of this pest?
