   This is a Cardboard Palm (Zamia furfuracea). I have a large one that is 12 or 15 years old. They are great plants, but will not take freezing temps very well.

   Buck thanks so much. I will do some research. We get a couple days a year here just outside New Orleans. Might be able to put in an area where I can attempt to grow a couple. Thanks for the reply.
