Notes:

Perennial. Blooms in the Spring, light purple flowers, four blade leaf. When the leaves begin to appear, they are red underneath but as it grows bigger that red color disappears. Stops blooming during the summer months.

    It looks like hardy geranium or cranesbill to me.

    You are right Suzanne. I just recently learned what it was: Wild Geranium. Mystery solved, case closed!
