I have 2 plants I am not able to identify. Does anyone know what they are?
The one with green balls is in every flowerbed in the back yard. The other is growing nicely in a tub of water with very little dirt.

The plant in the bottom pic looks like my crab apple starts. Hard to tell without the leaf edges showing clearly. My crab apples throw up all over my yard: some from the mother tree which is a native, thicket forming crab apple, and some from the multitude of crap apple seeds.
