Notes:
Several years ago, my husband and I received several tree seedlings from The Arbor Day Foundation for a donation that we gave them. My husband and I tried planting all of them but this is the only one that withstood the test of time.
We’ve long since thrown away the identification list and my husband and I have differing opinions on what kind of tree it is. I think it’s a type of Dogwood and my husband thinks its a Redbud. It blooms beautifully like this in the spring and then stays green throughout the year. Can you help us out?

I believe this is a type of Serviceberry (Amelanchier arborea ‘Autumn Brilliance). This is a common variety in our area.
