Notes:
This tree is about 35′ tall and 30′ wide. It is a beautiful gold, and maybe some red, in the fall. We moved into this house in February and are so excited by it’s beautiful shade over our deck. I think I saw it last fall with gold color on the bottom half and brilliant red on the top, but that sounds crazy so maybe My imagination has gotten carried away. Please help me identify this lovely tree and tell me how to best care for it.

Still looks like a pecan to me, too, or, less likely, a walnut. I don’t think you’re likely to resolve this either way without some more detailed pictures of leaves, leaf arrangement, or other close-up features of growth.
