I planted one and it grows to a tremendous size. So…I had to kill it. The blooms were really pretty but not the size for my area.

Yep, thanks, Buck! I think you’re right! AND Amy, they say you love wisteria when you plant it and when you kill it. This is a beautiful vine, but I don’t think I have the right place for it, either!

It does get large, but it is not nearly as aggressive as it’s Chinese cousin. For a really well-mannered wisteria, try American Wisteria.
