Notes:

There is a volunteer tree to the right of the plant that needs identified. The leaves are tear-dropped shape and the flowers are about a nickel in diameter, bright blue with yellow centers. I need to know the name of this plant to find out if it is poisonous if ingested. This plant is at our childcare center in several spots. thank you!!

    Our perspective from the photo puts Asiatic Dayflower to the right of the volunteer tree that needs identified! I understand the dayflower plant would not be poisonous and this link actually says it is edible http://www.survivalresources.com/Articles/Asiatic_Dayflower.html I also understand in a daycare setting there is no room for error. Get rid of it.
