Please identifiy. Thought it was a weed and ignored it for awhile. It got so big I decided I liked it. Can I transplant it successfully?

Looks like Pawlonia….and the only reason I would say that is I had one growing next to my driveway. I had pity on it since it grew so well…..but a wise reader advised me to waste no time getting home to cut it down. It seems that it is an an invasive species from China. Since then I have read about it and there seems to be a use for a tree like this that grows so fast. I would not let it stay close the my house, however. I would have had to cut it anyway since it was so close to my driveway. As for being invasive – I will leave that for others to decide, but it looks like it is here to stay. In fact, mine still come back every time I cut it down.

The question is, do you want it to be successfully transplanted?

Get rid of it.

Does it make white flowers on a stem? The flowers turn red in the Fall.
