Notes:

Tree, approx 15′ high. Fruit 1.5″ diam. Some were turning yellow. Smaller immature fruit also in pic. Individual placed fruit. Not fruit clumps.

    It looks a lot like Kousa dogwood, with slightly different leaves and less protuberant ‘spots’on the fruit. So Laura’s probably sent you down the right path.

    Maybe a type of evergreen dogwood. I’m guessing this might be Empress of China (Cornus angustata ÔElsbryÕ). It is also known by other names : Cornus elliptica, C. capitata var. angustata, Cornus elongata, etc….
