Notes:

There are two of these trees growing on my property. They’re beautiful but very large. I don’t know how to take care of them (pruning, etc) because I don’t know what they are. I’ve since noticed this same tree in other people’s yards as well… so I know it’s not that unusual but I don’t know what it is.

    I agree – photinia – prune way back – actually a shrub that has grown into a tree

    it may be a Palatka Holly – the berries are red but kind of transclucent and small. I have them in my yard and the leaves look the same. Mine have grown too big, too. Let’s wait on the professionals and see….
