Notes:
Found in a Monarch plant garden. The label “common blue milkweed” was near the plant, but I’m pretty sure that’s wrong.

Looks like a type of Symphyotrichum also known as aster. Sorry, I can’t tell which species or cultivars this is. You can check out some of these species and their hybrids: New England aster (S. novi-belgii), aromatic aster (S. oblongifolium), and willowleaf aster, (S. praealtum).
