Notes:

These mushrooms have appeared in the early am in the last couple of days only to disappear after the suns hits them. They appear only in newly planted areas of fescue on top of new compost. What are they and do I have to treat?

    They look like coprinoids. http://www.mushroomexpert.com/coprinoid.html They don’t hurt anything. Can’t say the same for your fescue.
