Notes:
I planted 15 gallon Leyland cypress along my driveway in northern Georgia. They went in by the end of October last year. Many of them are browning. Is this something I can fix? Or do they need to be replaced?

Will give an update soon. Nursery recommended misting with Kocide. Looks may be deceiving… Landscaper says they aren’t as deep as the photo suggests. Thanks!

1st.From the photograph the Leyland Cypress seem to be planted too deep. Should have a taper trunk and not look like a telephone pole in the ground. 2nd. Look for signs of Bagworms larvae that attach themselves in small spindle shape bags on the twig growth. Which can be a secondary problem from being planted too deep. Because they were planted last fall should not be Phomopsis needle and twig blight disease. Move soil away from the bottom trunk and see how deep the surface roots begin
