Notes:
My wife and I were staying in a cabin over the weekend in Ellijay Georgia and spotted several of these trees around the road. They were not bearing any cones nor did I spot any on the ground. We did see several saplings recently planted around but did not see any out 8n the forest proper. The bark is lightly rough and the needles do not grow perpendicular to the branch but more upward. Also the needle seems to be more oval in shape not diamond or completely flat.
