Maybe nadina/heavenly bamboo (Nandina domestica)? According to sources, propagating is done during warm weather from soft wood cuttings. But you might want to read up on nandina’s toxicity property and invasive nature. Best wishes! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nandina
