Notes:
I saw this evergreen at The Atlanta Botanical Gardens. The tips of the fronds are white . .and on first glance it appears to be snow, but it’s actually the color of the tips.
Does anyone know what it’s botanical name is?

Bobby Unregistered says:
I think the white is the new growth on a blue spruce. Picea pungens.

I think you’re right on the mark, Bobby. Now to find one that will perform well in S. GA. I’m looking at a couple of varieties.I need the dwarf-type .
Being just barely into Zone 8, I’m wondering if some of the ones rated for Zone 7 would do good here in a protected area?
Any advice/recommendations are welcome!
