Notes:
Typically 3 simple lanceolate leaves coming off a dark red fleshy stem with a cluster of red small soft seed-like “flowers” at the tip. Sprang up in the middle of an azalea bed growing very quickly over no more than 3 or 4 months to a height of 8 feet

It bears a lot of resemblance to pokeweed, although not very typical looking. I don’t recall having seen any that branch that way.
