We just moved into a new house in February and I can’t identify this fruit tree. The tree is about 20 feet tall and has small green fruit. The fruit is only about 1-2 inches and has a pit that looks like an olive pit.

I believe it is a jujube plant. It is a kind of Chinese Dates. If you do not find it tasty, let your Asian friend pick them for you. Watch out for thorns. I hope this helps.
