Notes:
Have you ever heard of a squirrel or a bird making a hole in a garden hose? Maybe a bird thinking it’s a snake after eggs or something similar? On 2 separate occasions, I’ve had 3 heavy duty commercial grade lifetime warranty Lowe’s garden hoses spout water through holes when I turned on the water: 1 in back & 2 connected ones in front. They weren’t rewound after use 1 or 2 days prior. No one here but me & no human vandalism apparent. It’s a wonderment – disconcerting to say the least!

Walter thinks this is most likely chipmunk or squirrel damage, no bird. Squirrels tend to chew on plastic either to get water, or because they’re just squirrels!
