I am trying to figure out what type of plant this is so that I can determine what to do in my flower bed. Please help…I have no idea what I am doing

    These look suspiciously like Golden Euonymous (or is that ‘Euonymi’?)that have lost their variegation. If this is the case (photos are kinda fuzzy, sorry)my recommendation is to snatch them out of the ground and replace them with something more appropriate for a low porch. Look up Dwarf Youpon Holly, Helleri Holly, or Carissa Holly to see if you like them. There are many more possibilities, but this is a good start for a rookie gardener!

    Help, we just purchased an 1830 home in Talbotton, GA. There are plants there that I have never seen. Crepe Merytles that are taller that the trees. Is there anyway someone could come see this place?
