Notes:

These are all over my yard. Some are purple, few are white/blue. They don’t seem to get taller than 6 inches or so. Help!

    Looks like the Common blue violet (Viola sororia). Sometimes the flowers are blue/purple. Sometimes they are white with fine purple lines in the center.

    Yes, wild violets. A terrible nuisance in lawns, but quite attractive as a groundcover. Heart shaped leaves and pretty flowers. They spread aggressively from seed and vegetative growth.
