Help! I planted cucumbers I grew from seed from Rare Seeds.com. and crowder peas on the other end of the bed. 4 feet away is yellow crook neck and lemon squash in a separate raised bed. I did try to grow Australian Butter Pumpkin last year and all was well until the vine borers came calling.

It’s also possible the Rare Seeds people may have sent you some gourds by mistake. I hope you got some cucumbers as well!

Thank you for your response I may cut the one in the middle open and see what’s in there. The others I will try and keep for fall lol! That bird must have piped a whole lot seeds in one spot!

The one in the center back looks like it might conceivably be some kind of squash hybrid (natural or otherwise) but the rest look like definite gourds to me, and even the one in the back is likely a gourd. Maybe some birds brought you some volunteers.
