Notes:

Our tomato production has been slow and, as we patiently wait for them to ripen, each night something is destroying our crop! We have an 8ft deer proof and rabbit proof fence – What could is this? We have never had this happen!!

If they are being eaten at night you might set rat traps. We had similar situation and trapped rats ! Disgusting! We apparently had rats from a near by barn dining at night.

Lotta critters like tomatoes. Might be mice n rats, might be squirrels… The other day. I spotted a brown thrasher eating a mater… I left that one on the vine… if they keep eating the one they start…. maybe the others will be left…. At my house, even the fire ants get into the act. You might try picking a bit sooner… I pick them just as they start to ripen. At that, even the crickets and cockroaches will eat them if left out… on a counter. Even my cats eat maters! so… I put them in the fridge…
