My mom has described this plant to me all summer long with hopes that I would be able to conger up a name for her to request from the local nurseries. On one my of many trips to see my folks in Jax,I finally dropped by the area where she spotted this magical mystery plant and grabbed a piece. I am stumped. Please help me, she believe this plant is the answer to help cover up an ground down oak tree stump mound.

The groundcover plant is Wedelia and is aggressive in warmer parts of the states. Will burn back in low forties. Spreads in wet sites and grows in sun and shade. Tough plant but watch out it spreads like mint.
