Notes:

I have this tree growing in my yard. It is about 15′ tall and mature. It has thorns on the branches and flowers, but i never get any fruit. I think it is a Hawthorn, but is there a variety that doesn’t fruit? Or do I need another for it to fruit?

I don’t have experiences with Hawthorn. According to sources, Hawthorn is self-fertile. Also grafted trees take about 2-3 years to bear fruits. Trees grow from seeds will take up to 5 years or more. Check out these included links for further information. Best wishes!

You could also take some of the tree’s samples to the local Agricultural Extension Service for further assistance.
