Top photo – Without flowers I’m speculating for now. Maybe a species of Joe-Pye weed (Eutrochium) perhaps. Flowers are needed for this suggested ID. For now checkout the leaves & images for Eutrochium species. Perhaps as this grows more mature, please give us update if you still don’t know. Again. I’m only speculating.
