Notes:

This bush grows lushly on a hill beside my houe. The flowers bloom in the spring and are a deep purple to black color. What could it be? The bunnies love it!

    This is a sweet shrub – Calycanthus floridus -
    (smells like strawberries).

    It’s Sweet Betsy (Calycanthus floridus), also known as Carolina allspice, sweet shrub, and several other names. It’s not much to look at, but its fragrance is divine!

    It’s Calycanthus, commonly called Sweetshrub. The blooms smell like strawberries.
