That’s a croton (Codiaeum). There are hundreds of different foliage colors and shapes. you can see a small range at http://www.botanicalstockphotos.com/photos-codiaeum-254.htm . Age? Well, it depends on the growing conditions, but probably not that old considering they can grow into pretty substantial shrubs.
