I have hundreds of these filling the trees at the edge of my forest. They seem to attract bees and butterflies but really do not have the sweet smell of a smaller honeysuckle…

Sounds like yours might be trumpet vine but the bloom looks like an improved cultivar! I would bet in the forest setting it would be trumpet vine. Then again if I was lucky at betting I would probably be in a card game and not on this lap top.
