I got 2 of these a couple of years ago and now I’m up to about 500 of them! Here is what I do know about them:
1. They love shade, almost any more than an hour of direct sunlight kills them. Which is good or they would have taken over the state.
2. They shoot up a single woody shoot that puts out leaves and thena crown of blooms similar to Hydranga.
3.butterflies really like them and hummingbirds use them occaisionally.

I have no idea what they are and it’s making me a little crazy.
