Anyone know what these babies are? Should my friend smash them or let them live?

    It is a CoReid or Leaf Nymph-Acanthocephala Terminalis or Assasin Bug.They are supposed to be beneficial in your garden.

    Oops! HAVE YOU SMASHED THEM YET? I think V is correct. They do appear to be the nymphs of Assasin bugs. They’re the good guys! Sorry.

    Well, I’m the one that took the picture and my buddy, Nancy, said they looked like assasin bug nymphs, too. To tell the truth, both my grape vine and a nearby pomegranate look great this year and I found them on both. For days they clustered on the same leaf. Yesterday, they were dispersed, I only found three and they were at least a foot apart. Thanks for the answer!
