Notes:

This large bush/weed is in our backyard, seemingly planted in a purposeful manner but we just bought the house so we don’t know what it is. Should we tear it out or does it have some aesthetic value?

    You can cut the stems to the ground, or leave them standing to mark the spot… You’ll see new growth emerging from the ground in the Spring.
