Notes:

I was told by the person who sold me this that it is a mint, but she didn’t know the variety name. It does smell like a mint, though it doesn’t give off scent as strong as peppermints. The menthol taste (cool sensation) is strong and sharp, a bit sour, not much of other taste. It’s rate of growth is not as fast as Apple Mints, and the stem is not that strong. Young leaves quite round in shape, mature one quite pointy. I am in Malaysia, bought the plant also in Malaysia.
